I took a reporting trip to the port-town of Bandar Abbas, in southern Iran. It was one of the places I had always wanted to see, mainly because I always loved bandari music, and anything by the port meant seafood. The city itself was hot, humid and we were told from multiple people, not to eat the seafood because of polluted waters. The workers at the fish market said they were selling their shrimp for half of what they were used to in previous years. Here are a few photos from the trip.
