Text 23 Aug 7 notes Summer Work

I was lucky to spend 10 weeks as a News21 reporting fellow this summer. Covering the topic of ‘Aging in America’ is not the sexiest thing in the world, but I got to travel and report on stories around the US. I went to Abingdon, VA, Chicago and upstate New York. It was a great learning experience, and I got to spend it with some amazing editors and a dozen other very talented reporters. On top of that it was PAID (seems to be a rarity these days), so I made a little coin…and the three videos I contributed to, all ran in the New York Times. Summer well spent. Thanks CUnews21.

Videos below (links, not embeds. Sorry).
